Who told them they could sing?

Generally, I like Weather Report. They're pretty under-rated as one of the most pioneering fusion bands out there.

But Domino Theory is pretty horrid. From the opening song (with monotone vocals); which is a song about how they can't find any new sounds. Which is about as interesting as writing about how you have writer's block.

The rest of the album has a few funky spots, but Wayne Shorter's sax sounds too electrified on this recording for me. Several other tracks are filler, featuring Joe Zawinul spacing out. Pretty much the same reason I sold back my 3 disc Miles Davis Complete Silent Way Sessions.
